Your Invites!

You may (or may not!) have realised that there are a number of different images on our reception invitations. After deciding that our invites would feature an image of somewhere beautiful in Pembrokeshire, we then struggled to pick between all the amazing places we have been. So we decided not to choose, and just use them all!

All the photos were taken ourselves as we have explored our new area. Here are the seven different designs and a bit about where they were taken:

1. This image was taken at Pizza Tipi, a pizza restaurant that opens in the summer months on the riverside in Cardigan serving organic stone-baked pizzas and local beers from their Tafarn Smwglin (Smugglers Tavern).

2. Tenby is a very cute traditional Pembrokeshire seaside town, complete with this lovely harbour from which you can buy fresh seafood and ice-creams.

3. Druidstone Haven is a secluded beach around three miles from our front door - it's Nicola's favourite beach and is in fact where Chris proposed to her! Weather pending, we hope to spend some time here on our wedding day.

4. Hilton Court Gardens is a lovely place to go for a stroll in the summer months, and is only about 2miles from our house.

5. This image is of Bosherton Lily Ponds, which are part of the National Trust owned Stackpole Estate. We went for an epic walk there in November on a roasting hot day. To get to the lily ponds you have to walk around 2.5miles across cliffs, through woods and across deserted beaches. It's very pretty.

6. Our house! This is Chris's favourite chicken, Mrs Dorothy Brown, chilling her boots in the wheelbarrow outside Robin's front door. We're hoping our little hen family will be active participants on the big day!

7. Newgale Beach is Chris's surfing beach of choice - he is down there rain or shine, so long as the surf is good! He hires himself a little board from Newsurf, hops in the water for an hour or two and then meets Nik in Sand's Cafe afterwards for a coffee and piece of tiffin :)
